Job Title: Manufacturing Technician - Environmental Support

At FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician - Environmental Support to join our team in Thousand Oaks, California.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work as part of the manufacturing team to deliver high-quality therapeutics, contributing to the successful delivery of released product in support of clinical and commercial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing areas and equipment in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Execute cleanings compliantly and safely without negative impact to the production schedule.
  • Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working inventory for equipment and supplies.
  • Perform various housekeeping activities, including keeping work areas clean and cleaning of equipment.
  • Document and review appropriate paperwork, daily logs, and documentation per Good Documentation Practices.
  • Participate in a detailed training program and develop a training plan.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in the evaluation of current cleaning procedures and equipment, recommending changes to optimize the cleaning program.
  • Routine maintenance and cleaning of rooms and equipment.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements.
  • Perform tasks in a manner consistent with safety policies, quality systems, and GMP requirements.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or Associate degree.
  • A minimum of 2 or more years of related experience is preferred (work or schooling).
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong demonstrated aseptic techniques.
Work Environment:

The work environment is a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility, governed by regulatory agencies with specific requirements for hygiene and acceptable clothing.

The successful candidate will be required to work in a cleanroom environment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following strict protocols to maintain asepsis.

The position requires extended periods of standing, including crouching and kneeling, while wearing PPE.

The candidate must be willing and able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, twist, climb ladders, and wear a respirator.

The position requires a combination of standing in the manufacturing environment and walking around the facility.

The successful candidate will be required to work various shifts, including all shift times, and be open to potential swing shift hours.

The position requires the ability to work weekends and some holidays.
