Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Breakfast Point Dental Care. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality services.
Responsibilities- Patient Care: Greet and welcome patients, sustain patient comfort, and provide education throughout treatment.
- Diagnostic Assessments: Take and process x-rays, and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
- Chairside Assistance: Provide superior assistance to supported dentists during various procedures, adhering to the state dental practice act.
- Administrative Tasks: Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping, manage supply and inventory levels, and place orders as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
- Education: Dental assisting school certification.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a dental setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, and experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
