We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Team Lead to join our team at Erickson Senior Living. As a Housekeeping Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our housekeeping staff, ensuring that our community remains clean and safe for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the community
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and utilize work orders to ensure proper room and furniture setups
- Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects and packages
- Drive housekeeping vehicles for trash collection and bulk item delivery
- Schedule and supervise daily work assignments
- Inspect assigned areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained
- One to three years of previous experience in floor care and floor finishing techniques
- Previous experience in a leadership role (preferred)
- Minimum of three years of verifiable licensed driving experience and a history of safe driving as noted through a three-year motor vehicle record check
- Proficiency in working with computers (preferred)
- Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations
