Residential Cleaner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Erickson Senior Living. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' homes and community spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain resident homes in Independent Living and Resident Rooms in Nursing Home, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the community through the use of specialized equipment, including carpet care and hard floor care equipment.
• Clean public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures, to ensure a hygienic and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
• Clean lobbies, living rooms, and other community spaces, including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, to maintain a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
• Assist with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners, to ensure a clean and organized community.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming, to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, and trash removal equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles.
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other.

Compensation: $17/hour
