Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is special and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, adhering to company standards
  • Control dining room flow to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register
  • Ensure 100% guest satisfaction on every visit

Position Requirements

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
  • Assist with to-go orders and support serving staff as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining and lobby areas, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless service
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of the restaurant

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, with regular breaks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with assistance if needed
  • Exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals, with proper training and equipment
  • Flexible work hours, with a focus on providing excellent service under pressure
