Medical Specimen Collector

Labcorp is seeking a skilled Medical Specimen Collector to join our team. As a Medical Specimen Collector, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients in a safe and efficient manner. This is a critical role in the healthcare industry, and we are looking for a professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect blood and other specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
* Ensure accurate and timely data entry of patient information
* Process billing information and collect payments when required
* Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
* Maintain patient and specimen information logs
* Provide superior customer service to patients
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred)
* Previous experience as a phlebotomist (desired)
* Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently or in a team environment
* Comfortable working under minimal supervision
* Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable)
