Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor to join our team at Canyons School District. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Certified Nursing Assistant program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and assess student learning in the Certified Nursing Assistant program
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive learning experience
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and two years of full-time experience as a licensed nurse
  • One year of experience in direct patient care in a nursing or long-term care facility
  • Active California Registered Nursing License
  • Director of Staff Development (DSD)/Instructor Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching online courses
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
