Master Aircraft Technician A&P

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Expert to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in the maintenance and repair of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Maintenance Tasks: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
- Lead and Mentor: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with Inspection: Collaborate with inspection teams to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
- Manage Customer Property: Properly identify, store, and secure customer property and equipment.
- Operate Specialized Equipment: Safely operate and supervise the use of special support equipment in removal and installation of major components.
- Coordinate Aircraft Movement: Coordinate the movement of aircraft as required.
- Assist in Training: Assist in training new employees on CMPs, maintenance manuals, SRMs, IPC usage, flight test installations, Solumina, RS compliance records, and all maintenance of major components.
- Participate in SMS: Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) initiatives, including investigations and participation in Site Safety Council.
- Support Lean Initiatives: Assist in problem-solving initiatives and process implementation, supporting Lean activities.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. 8 years Aviation Maintenance experience to include 4 years of experience working on Gulfstream mid/large size aircraft required. Corporate aircraft experience preferred.
- FAA Certifications: Other FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required. Valid Driver's License required.
- Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
