Responsibilities

  • Coordinate carpenters and contractors to deliver high-quality work on time
  • Verify safety compliance with all trades and obtain necessary permits
  • Lead regular contractor meetings and create/update project schedules
  • Communicate schedule updates and changes to stakeholders
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage jobsite logistics
  • Oversee project quality plan and implement necessary changes
  • Provide training opportunities to subordinates for continuous improvement and cross training

Requirements and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with quick service restaurants
  • Previous experience as a construction superintendent
  • Ability to read and understand architectural and civil drawings
  • Willingness to travel and supervise project teams
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety processes and ability to enforce project safety plan
