Job Summary

Allied Universal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer - Cleared to join our team. As a Security Officer - Cleared, you will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, property, and sensitive information at our client's site. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading security and facility services company and contribute to the protection of our clients' assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality security services, ensuring the protection of people, assets, and sensitive information.
  • Conduct patrols within and around the facility to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Greet guests and employees, and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
  • Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns and security breaches to the client and/or other security personnel.
  • Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency situations, acting as a first responder when necessary.
Requirements
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site.
    • Prior military experience.
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior law enforcement or armed security experience.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
