A leading healthcare organization, Aspen Personnel Services, is seeking a highly skilled Physician to join their team in Lewiston, Idaho.


Key Responsibilities:


Deliver high-quality patient care, encompassing diverse demographics, including various genders, ages, and ethnicities, as well as insured and uninsured individuals.


Conduct thorough examinations to assess patients' physical conditions, performing assessments and preventive healthcare interventions in accordance with established protocols.


Order or administer various tests, analyses, and diagnostic imaging to gather comprehensive information on patients' health status.


Evaluate reports and findings to arrive at accurate diagnoses for patients' conditions.


Prescribe or suggest medications and other treatments, such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures. Administer inoculations and vaccinations to safeguard against communicable diseases. Perform minor surgical procedures. Refer patients to medical specialists or other healthcare practitioners for specialized care.


Provide guidance to patients on matters like diet, hygiene, and preventive measures against diseases.


Document and endorse physical findings, devise a plan and prognosis based on patients' conditions, and record them in the patient electronic chart according to established standards.


Notify relevant authorities of birthdays, deaths, and outbreaks of contagious diseases.


Participate in provider staff meetings to develop problem-solving techniques and enhance team building skills. Engage in peer reviews.


Represent the clinic at conferences, meetings, and ongoing education programs.


Contribute to clinic Quality Improvement initiatives upon request.


Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated or as required.


Requirements:


Successful completion of an accredited medical doctor or doctor of osteopathy program is mandatory.


Board certification or eligibility in the relevant specialty (internists/pediatricians, family practice, obstetrics/gynecology) is required.


Strong preference for expertise in Family Practice.


Prior experience in working with underserved populations is highly valued. Certification through the Drug Enforcement Agency and valid licensure in Washington State are mandatory.


BLS certification is a prerequisite.


Must secure credentialing through identified agencies (Medicare, Medical, etc.).


Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.


Proficiency in computer skills is required.


Preferred experience with Electronic Health records (EHR).
