We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team at Doyle Shamrock Industries. As a key member of our plastics facility, you will be responsible for setting up and operating ton presses, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and Operation: Plan and execute setups for production runs, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Auxiliary Equipment: Prepare and maintain auxiliary equipment, including oil heaters, thermometers, and temperature controllers.
- Tooling and Press Operation: Hang and clamp tools in presses, and perform process troubleshooting and startup procedures.
- Mold Maintenance: Remove and analyze molds for cleaning, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including mold racks, fixture racks, and storage areas.
- Availability: Be available to work any shift as needed.
Requirements: Must have strong mechanical skills, knowledge of hydraulic core sequences, hot runner manifolds, gate valves, air blow/ejectors, and water diagrams. Must also have your own tools.
Pay Rate: Hourly rate will be discussed upon interview, based on experience.
