Family Practice Medical Assistant

Osceola Medical Center is seeking a qualified Family Practice Medical Assistant to join their team. As a member of our healthcare delivery team, you will play a key role in providing support to our family practice provider team(s) by managing electronic medical records, facilitating test results, and performing various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include completing pre-visit planning, taking and recording patient vital signs, documenting patient visits, and assisting with sterile and nonsterile procedures. You will also be responsible for continuing outreach to patients with overdue preventative care needs, placing future orders for lab and imaging, and maintaining exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies.
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong foundation in medical assisting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent critical thinking skills, exhibit excellent communication and organizational abilities, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the integrity of highly confidential business information.
Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year.
