IV Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The DRIPBaR Baldwin Park-Orlando. As an IV Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, personalized care to our clients.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong IV peripheral skills, experience accessing ports and PICC lines, and a current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse. A minimum of 2 years of current nursing experience, including infusion therapy and patient assessment skills, is also required.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare IV & IM vitamins for administration with appropriate technique
- Perform venipuncture, placement of peripheral IV's, and possible accesses implanted ports
- Monitor client while infusion is taking place
- Maintain supply inventory and clean and maintain infusion room & sterile hood
- Document therapy details in client's charts using EHR
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate directly with patients
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Registered Nurse
- Must possess VERY strong IV peripheral skills
- Experience accessing Ports and PICC lines
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years current nursing experience; infusion therapy, including patient assessment skills, venous access skills
- BSL certification current
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
Working Conditions
May work around usual office and outpatient conditions. During busy periods, may require long periods of time standing and/or walking and administering multiple IVs and injections at a time. Must be able to chart accurately and in a timely fashion. May work around biohazards. Exposure to blood-borne pathogens is possible. Exposure to chemicals and commercial items typically found in offices, medical clinics, and building repairs/maintenance.
