About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Aspirus Health. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors by enforcing security policies and procedures.
  • Interact with other security personnel and hospital staff to provide a high-quality security service.
  • Make sound decisions and exercise critical thinking skills to resolve security-related incidents.
  • Operate computerized equipment, two-way radios, and personal computers, as well as related software.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional demeanor in challenging situations.
  • Work in inclement weather and extreme temperatures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Technical School degree in Police Science or current student in Police Science program desired.
  • Security experience or training beneficial.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver's License required.
  • Ability to operate N95 or PAPR and other precautionary equipment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work overtime without advance notice.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively.
