Culinary Specialist

At Clinton House Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, we are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
- Coordinate food services with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Work closely with the facility's dietitian to implement recommended changes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all food service procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Assist in planning regular and special diet menus as prescribed by the attending physician.
- One year of experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred.
- State Food Service Sanitation certification required.
- Ability to read, speak, and write the English language in an understandable manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet.
- Ability to taste and smell food to determine quality and palatability.
