Job Description:- Lead the Human Resource strategy for Carpenter's Latrobe Operations
- Manage the day-to-day Human Resources department supporting both P&M and Salaried workforce
The Senior HR Manager - Labor Relations will oversee HR programs, policies, and procedures, maintain good communication and a positive relationship with employees to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. This role also involves overseeing the Labor Relations function for the Latrobe, PA facility, coaching and counseling site leaders, managers, and employees related to workplace issues, concerns, and conflicts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business, management, or labor relations; Master's Degree is highly preferred
- 15+ years of work experience in Human Resources; 10+ years in labor relations
- Experience in Contract/CBA negotiations; lead negotiator preferred
The ideal candidate will have professional depth in core HR practice areas, experience in industrial manufacturing and/or engineering-oriented environments, and knowledge of value-added HR products and services. They should also be able to examine the value added by HR products and services, look for potential improvements, and eliminate non-value-added elements.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
