SOLV Energy is a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) provider for utility-scale solar projects across North America. We are seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to lead our utility-scale solar projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of utility-scale solar projects, including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Develop and implement safety plans and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Oversee project billings and seek to maximize cash flow through diligent and strategic billing preparation.
  • Negotiate change orders with owners and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage and train project teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Review contract conditions and ensure compliance with all contract terms.
  • Direct preconstruction services and activities.
  • Negotiate and prepare subcontract bid packages.
  • Effectively manage project risk and evaluate probability and severity of risk events.
  • Maintain quality control and ensure integrity and excellence of completed projects.
  • Avoid or mitigate claims and conflict.
  • Complete all job close-out procedures and conduct warranty follow-up.
Requirements:
  • Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory skills.
  • Leadership ability to pull together team members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office suite and industry-standard tools.
  • Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
  • Thorough understanding of project management control systems.
  • Strong understanding of utility-scale PV plant construction means, methods, sequencing, and techniques.
  • Able to travel extensively, including lengthy jobsite-based assignments in remote areas.
