Cardiovascular Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Nurse to join our team at Providence Tarzana Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a culture of excellence in our Cardiovascular Unit.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those requiring cardiac catheterization, coronary artery bypass grafting, and other cardiovascular procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in cardiovascular care.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current California Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire.
- 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a cardiovascular setting.
- National Certification in area of specialty, unless otherwise indicated.
