Telemetry Technician

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Providence Tarzana Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordinating, and providing high-quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.

• Assist in the planning and coordination of patient care, including the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, including electrocardiogram (ECG) readings, and report any abnormalities to the Registered Nurse or other healthcare professionals.
• Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the Registered Nurse and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

• Completion of a course in EKG recognition and its clinical implications within the probationary period.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association and California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
