The Sahuarita Unified School District is seeking a dependable and experienced Bus Driver to operate buses safely and efficiently. This individual will transport students and other passengers while maintaining a secure and orderly environment on board.

• Drive school bus on scheduled routes, ensuring accurate information about stop times and locations;
• Pick up school children and transport them to and from school, as well as on educational field trips and out-of-town excursions;
• Maintain order among passengers, supervise their behavior, and prepare student conduct reports when necessary;
• Administer first aid when required, keep the bus clean and tidy, and perform daily pre-trip duties according to Commercial Drivers License manual guidelines;
• Check the bus for mechanical defects and report any issues to the supervisor;
• Keep a daily record of gas, oil, mileage, and the number of children transported;
• Maintain bus routes, including stop locations and times, and exhibit patience, courtesy, and tact when interacting with others;

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred;
• Valid Arizona driver's license;
• Arizona Class B Commercial Driver's License (desired);
• Meet all Arizona School Bus Driver requirements;
• Pass the Arizona Department of Public Safety Physical Performance Test;
• Two years of previous experience driving a school bus is desired;
