Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide well-coordinated patient care under the oversight of the primary RN.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained within 3 months of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Enrolled in or completion of Nursing program required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required within 6 months of hire.
