Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000

A prominent investment firm specializing in private equity and credit is seeking a dedicated Senior Financial Accountant to enhance its finance team. This role is pivotal in supporting the firm’s expansion, particularly in managing existing funds and facilitating the launch of new investment vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes to support new funds and accounts.
  • Enhance current reporting mechanisms and drive process improvements.
  • Oversee month-end closing activities.
  • Calculate Net Asset Values (NAV).
  • Manage investor communications, distributions, and allocations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of public financial statements and K-1s.
  • Provide comprehensive investor reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Tax, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in public accounting and audit is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience in private credit or Business Development Companies (BDCs) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with loan origination or private equity-style funds and performance metrics such as ROE, IRR, and MoM is beneficial.
