Qualifications:
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition is mandatory.
Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a clinical dietitian in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
  • Completion of an ACEND accredited Supervised Practice Program is essential.
  • Proficient in providing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and applying the nutrition care process effectively.
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend dietary needs based on comprehensive clinical assessments.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Must possess a Licensed Dietitian (LD) credential in the State of Ohio upon hire.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required upon hire.
  • Commitment to maintaining continuing education credits for both registration and licensure.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Occasional climbing and crawling.
  • Constant engagement in talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Travel Requirements
  • Occasional travel may be necessary (approximately 10%).
