Job Summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hematology Oncology Specialist to join our team as a faculty member. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hematologic malignancies, stem cell transplantation, and cellular therapies, with a strong focus on supporting our growing academic mission and clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and longitudinal patient care
  • Teach and mentor internal medicine residents, hematology/oncology fellows, and medical students
  • Participate in clinical trials and translational research
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including medical oncologists/hematologists, radiation oncologists, hematopathology, nurses, nutritionists, apheresis, and cell processing specialists

Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certification or board eligibility in internal medicine and hematology/oncology
  • Eligibility for a medical license in Ohio
  • At least one year of clinical experience managing allogeneic and autologous transplant patients
