Job Description:
This role is responsible for engaging with our members by making recommendations and answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood. The successful candidate will prepare special cuts of meat ordered by members, cut, grind, and/or process fresh meats to company cutting standards, weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company packaging standards. They will also ensure the meat case showcases all currently available products, maintain an appropriate level of inventory, and clean and sanitize all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department, including the meat cooler, freezer, and refrigerated display cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have completion of a training program/apprenticeship, previous meat cutting experience, and knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred. You must also be at least 18 years of age and have regular, predictable, full attendance. In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the estimated salary for this position is $18.50 per hour, based on national averages for similar positions.
