We are currently seeking a Senior Custodian to oversee and enhance the cleanliness and maintenance of municipal buildings. This role is pivotal in supporting the mission of the General Services Department, which aims to deliver quality services that assist City departments in fulfilling their community objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of management, the Senior Custodian will:

  • Supervise and evaluate the work of custodial personnel.
  • Ensure the thorough cleaning and upkeep of City facilities.
  • Implement effective cleaning protocols and safety measures.
  • Assist in training new custodial staff.

This position is distinct from the Custodian role due to its supervisory responsibilities, while it does not encompass the overall management of the Custodial Division.

Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of two years in custodial services, ensuring buildings are maintained in a clean and secure condition.

Education:
Ability to read, comprehend, and provide clear instructions regarding the safe use of cleaning materials and equipment.

Licenses:
A valid Class C California Driver's License is required.

Examination Process:
