Patient Service Coordinator

**Job Overview:**
VieMed Healthcare Inc. is a leading provider of healthcare services, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Technician to join our team.
This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
The Patient Service Technician will be responsible for delivering equipment to patients, educating them on proper use and maintenance, and ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with branch staff and patients to prioritize delivery tasks efficiently.
- Provide daily account reconciliations and route sheets, as well as manifest reconciliations.
- Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours, including nights and weekends.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of company products and services, as well as relevant governmental and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain current knowledge of accreditation requirements.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment, and ensure physical control and proper care of company assets.
- Make sure all incoming equipment is properly bagged and tagged, and clean and maintain delivery vehicles regularly.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of delivery experience preferred.
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a good driving record required.
- Able to physically lift, carry, and move up to 150 pounds; mechanically and technically inclined.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with professional demeanor and appearance.
