Job Summary

The Executive Housekeeper is a key member of the hotel operations team, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage a team of housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign and inspect work assignments to ensure conformance to hotel standards
  • Inspect rooms, halls, and lobbies to identify areas for repair or replacement
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure seamless departmental operations
  • Investigate guest complaints and take corrective action to resolve issues
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss company policies and guest feedback
  • Manage the Lost and Found program and ensure accurate inventory of supplies
  • Perform administrative tasks, including payroll processing and budget management
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the housekeeping and laundry departments
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hotel standards
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Working Conditions

The Executive Housekeeper will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, frequently exposed to chemicals and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is moderate, and the associate will work in an environment open to the general public.
