Job Title: RN-Case Manager and House Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled RN-Case Manager and House Supervisor to join our team at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

About the Role:

The RN-Case Manager and House Supervisor will be responsible for facilitating clinically appropriate and fiscally responsible patient care through communication with the treating physician and all other members of the healthcare team. This role will also involve managing the patient's treatment prospectively through the admission process, concurrently through on-going case management while the patient is an inpatient in one or more venues of care, and retrospectively through review of individual cases and identification of trends and patterns.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate clinically appropriate and fiscally responsible patient care through communication with the treating physician and all other members of the healthcare team.
  • Manage the patient's treatment prospectively through the admission process, concurrently through on-going case management while the patient is an inpatient in one or more venues of care.
  • Review individual cases and identify trends and patterns to improve patient care.
  • Supervise daily staffing assignments and levels within the hospital.
  • Provide direction, orient new staff, train, coach, and mentor staff daily.
Requirements:
  • Education: BSN Preferred
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of progressive nursing experience in an acute hospital is required.
  • Requirements: Must have or able to obtain a Nevada RN License. American Heart Association Certifications: required upon hire include: BLS, ACLS, and PALS; and NRP within 90-days of hire.
