Job Opportunity

Ovivo is seeking a skilled welder to join our team in Round Rock Warehouse. As a welder, you will be responsible for completing weldments on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum using FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that work is performed accurately and meets or exceeds standards.
  • Uphold safety requirements and maintain a clean and tidy work area.
  • Follow, maintain, and help create welding procedures and specifications.
  • Operate machinery/equipment in the production process or assist the assembly department.
  • Assemble items as instructed by the department lead.
  • Help keep the shop clean and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
  • Follow all company rules and policies.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Operate an overhead bridge crane to move material and final product.
  • Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards as they apply to the above.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years flux core welding experience and willingness to get AWS certified.
  • Highly experienced fabricator welder who can take a set of fabrication build prints and run from start to finish.
  • Full-time shop position and shop experience is a must, but experience in field erecting is a big plus.
  • Proficiently use FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes to complete weldments on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Ability to set up and operate machines related to this work.
  • Perform quality and accurate work while keeping safety the top priority.
  • Honest, self-motivated, and hard working. Basic computer skills and competency required.
