Speech Language Pathologist

Enterprise City Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing educational support to students with special needs.
Job Summary:The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess students' communication skills and develop IEPs to address their needs
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement IEPs and provide support to students
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and other professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
- Valid Alabama teaching certificate in Speech Language Pathology
- Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
