The role of the Skilled Laborer encompasses a variety of general labor tasks while providing assistance to skilled tradespeople. Individuals in this position are expected to exhibit sound judgment and adhere to comprehensive instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate on civil and mechanical construction initiatives, excavation, welding, and other related activities.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
  • Utilize various construction tools including saws, hammers, plumbing equipment, etc.
  • No supervisory duties are included.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction or a related field.
  • NSTC Certification with H2S Endorsement.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within an oilfield setting.
  • Certification in Asbestos Abatement.
  • Training in confined spaces.
  • 24-Hour Hazwoper Certification.
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
  • Good mobility, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • Capability of a full range of motion.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Frequent on-call duties.
  • Work conducted at construction sites with potential hazards.
Contingencies:

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment screenings.
