Focus Staff is seeking a highly motivated and energetic MRI Technologist for a travel job in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a licensed MRI Technologist to join our team in Lumberton, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocol, including placing specified coil close to the area of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety, including explaining safety protocol and monitoring patients via closed circuit TV.
Requirements:
  • Have two years of regular experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all the duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in required state.
  • BLS.
  • Must be fully proficient in MRI and have knowledge of the required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization.
