Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic MRI Technologist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Licensed MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies
  • Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address their concerns
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees
Requirements:
  • 2 years of regular experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II
  • License in required state
  • BLS
  • Must be fully proficient in MRI and have knowledge of required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position
  • 2 years of hospital experience in clinical area; EP preferred
