Job Title: Financial Analysis Specialist

Job Description:
The Diversity Talent Scouts company is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analysis Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to help us make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP principles
  • Assist with month-end close activities and perform analytical procedures on general ledger accounts
  • Prepare and post standard and non-standard journal entries
  • Monitor budget variances and provide explanations
  • Prepare and analyze monthly manufacturing department financial reports against budget and identify areas for improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Manufacturing/Cost Accounting experience
  • General Ledger experience using ERP systems, Hyperion, and Business Intelligence (BI)
  • 1-5 years of experience in accounting with advanced Excel applications skills

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
