Senior Maintenance Technician

The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all manufacturing equipment and GMP-designated spaces within the site. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair complex automated machinery and mechanical equipment issues
• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks using fundamental mechanical knowledge and experience
• Ensure compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), corporate policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Collaborate with peers and cross-functional members to resolve equipment or facility discrepancies
• Design and fabricate complex machinery to facilitate operations as needed
• Maintain adequate critical spare parts inventory for assigned functional areas
Requirements:
A Vocational degree in automated machinery systems or equivalent from a two-year college and 5 years' experience; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) and 7 years' experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, food manufacturer or electronics preferred)
Preferred Skills:
• Advanced understanding of programming of electronic devices including VFDs, PLCs, and other various controllers
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and SAP knowledge or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Work Environment:
This position requires occasional driving and air travel may be required 1 or 2 times per year. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
