Nurse Specialist in Acute Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our General Float Pool team at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
This is a full-time position with NIGHT shifts, offering a competitive salary and a range of benefits.
The ideal candidate will have a strong nursing background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
Salary:
$46.57 - $67.48 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care
- Providing comprehensive care to patients across various medical units
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality nursing services
- Utilizing advanced nursing processes, technology, and teamwork
Requirements
- ASN / ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain your BSN from an accredited program within four (4) years of hire unless you possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting, required
- Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license, required
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service)
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in an acute care inpatient setting, required

Physical Requirements
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
