Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Credentialing Coordinator. This position entails overseeing the management of all necessary provider credentials, licenses, degrees, privileges, and certifications during the onboarding of new healthcare professionals. You will collaborate with multiple departments to facilitate a seamless integration process for new physicians and advanced practice providers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare or administrative roles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in credentialing or privileging
  • One year of experience within a healthcare environment

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the credentialing process for incoming medical staff and advanced practice providers
  • Manage reappointment documentation and maintain accurate provider records
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure provider enrollment and adherence to compliance standards

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting
  • Ability to lift 15-20 pounds
  • Prolonged use of computer and telephone

Working Environment:

  • Standard office setting
  • Occasional travel may be required
