We are currently in search of a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) to join our Health Center team on a PRN basis.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Health Center C.N.A., your daily tasks will include:

  • Participating in shift reports and conducting rounds.
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as toileting, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Responding promptly to call lights and resident requests.
  • Supporting meal services, including tray distribution and assistance with eating.
  • Documenting all necessary records, including ADL flow, bowel and bladder function, and meal intake.
  • Obtaining vital signs and weight for new residents and providing orientation.
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly environment in resident rooms.
  • Providing range of motion exercises as per guidelines and documenting accordingly.
  • Engaging residents in cognitive activities, particularly those with dementia.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A valid NC CNA license and completion of a training course.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • A minimum of two years of experience, preferably in geriatrics and with dementia or Alzheimer's patients.
  • The ability to observe and respond to changes in residents' conditions.
  • Demonstrated understanding, patience, and respect in interactions with residents and their families.
  • Proficient knowledge of CNA duties and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $18.30 per hour, based on experience.
