Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant Wellness Director to join our team at Celebration Village Acworth. As a key member of our wellness department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the exceptional senior living experiences of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate resident care and delegate tasks to Resident Care Assistants (RCAs) and Medication Technicians (MTs)
  • Monitor the overall function of the Wellness Department and make community decisions in the absence of the Executive Director and Wellness Director
  • Implement service plans and collect data regarding the health status of residents
  • Administer medications according to physician orders and document medications administered on the MAR
  • Conduct change of shift reports and maintain security of medication cart and narcotic keys
  • Transcribe physician orders and review MARs for accuracy
  • Respond to emergencies and orient new associates on the job
  • Monitor e-call system equipment and maintain resident charts
  • Understand and use Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Standard Precautions and OSHA's Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing
  • Licensed nurse in state where you work
  • Minimum of two years nursing experience
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English
  • Experience in an Assisted Living setting preferred
  • Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
