End of Life Nurse Specialist RN

The Hospice Nurse, RN will be responsible for:
- Creating positive experiences for internal and external customers through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Providing comfort to patients and their families to facilitate quality of life and death with dignity.
- Maintaining current electronic documentation and ensuring complete documentation on an ongoing basis, supporting hospice guidelines and COPs.
- Ensuring that physicians and/or Hospice Medical Directors are involved in ongoing patient care.
- Maintaining regular communication with supervisors and coordinating hospice care with Director of Clinical Services/Assistant Clinical Director and the IDG team.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, preferred.
- Experience in home health and hospice settings, preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience in acute care settings.
- Current CPR certification.
