Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team in Mount Bethel, PA. As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 18-20 employees in two departments, ensuring production schedules are met and downtime is minimized.
  • Oversee successful changeovers and communication between night and day shifts.
  • Monitor night shift operator and machine productivity, providing training, direction, guidance, and counseling as needed.
  • Work with HR to make personnel decisions on hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and promotions.
  • Regularly evaluate processes to improve safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Solicit and encourage team members' feedback on processes, procedures, and equipment improvements.
  • Accurately manage departmental timekeeping system via Paylocity HRIS system.
  • Conduct wage and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure effective communication at all levels within the organization.
  • Maintain safe working conditions, procedures, and practices on the assigned shift.
  • Foster a positive shift culture and company reputation within the community.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years in a manufacturing supervisory role.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Oral and written communication skills with the ability to gain trust, engage others, and influence outcomes.
  • Highly self-motivated with exceptional follow-up and attention to detail.
