We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Unit Supervisor to join our team at Peters Twp Nursing & Rehab in McMurray, PA. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our nursing units, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
- Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, and coordinating with other departments.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care, with an emphasis on limiting the use of overtime and agency personnel.
- Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- A competitive salary range of $40 - $43 per hour.
