Job Overview:
The Arizona Department of Agriculture is seeking two dedicated individuals to become part of our licensing division as Customer Service Representatives II. These roles are essential in facilitating customer interactions related to various licensing and permit programs governed by the Department.
The selected candidates will be required to work on-site and maintain consistent attendance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Central Licensing Customer Service Team to manage licensing initiatives, including but not limited to: Credentials, Feed, Fertilizer, Pesticide, Seed, Aquaculture, Dairy, Eggs, Meat, Native Plant, Livestock Brands, Equine Hauling, and Pest Management Licensing.
* Handle incoming calls, respond to electronic inquiries, and assist customers who visit in person.
* Process data entries, collect fees, manage deposits, and ensure account balances are accurate.
* Address customer concerns and resolve complex issues.
* Adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of:
• Effective customer service practices.
• Relevant federal and state regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Arizona Revised Statutes pertaining to licensing operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with specialized software related to various licensing functions.
• Basic mathematical skills and understanding of financial handling procedures.
Skills in:
• General accounting practices, including cash management.
• Customer service techniques for various communication channels.
• Clear oral and written communication.
• Interpreting and explaining regulations and policies to the public.
Ability to:
• Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time.
• Exercise sound judgment within defined guidelines.
• Collaborate within a team setting.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Adapt to changes in policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with walk-in customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are encouraged to apply.
