Research Environment: The successful candidate will engage with the Center for Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh, which integrates efforts across the University, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and Carnegie Mellon University. This environment fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities: The selected individual will be expected to:
- Establish and lead an independent research program.
- Contribute to the education of undergraduate and graduate students in neuroscience.
- Participate actively in the local neuroscience community.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a doctoral degree and have completed postdoctoral training in neuroscience or a related discipline, demonstrating a strong record of research achievement. A genuine interest in enhancing the educational mission of the department and a commitment to community engagement are preferred.
