Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Operations Manager to oversee the environmental compliance program for our water treatment system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wastewater operations and management, with experience in implementing and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate and control the overall environmental compliance program for water treatment system.
- Oversight of all required monitoring and reporting of sample results required by federal, state, and local regulations.
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions.
- Lock out Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
- Compliance Recordkeeping, oversight of all required monitoring and reporting of sample results (lab work) required for federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform process control lab work.
- Maintenance of wastewater equipment.
Requirements:
- BS in Science/Engineering or equivalent credit hours in any other curriculum approved by the Board.
- 4 years of acceptable Operating Experience in Wastewater Facilities Class II or higher.
- Two years of which must have been in a position of Direct Responsible Discharge.
- WW IV license to run the plant.
