JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand and enforce all client and project safety protocols on-site.
  • Establish and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Optimize the use of manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Oversee daily operations of both direct-hire and subcontracted labor.
  • Ensure subcontractors adhere to the project timeline and execute their tasks efficiently.
  • Meet or exceed all established standards.
  • Coordinate the resolution of any outstanding punch list items.
  • Aim for a "Zero Punch List" outcome.
  • Build and maintain a positive rapport with the owner's representative.
  • Document daily progress using Procore, including photographs and meeting minutes, while highlighting factors that may impact project cost, schedule, or quality.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential cost and schedule challenges.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of project scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Project and/or Construction Manager to create detailed schedule control documentation.
  • Work with the Project Manager to formulate a close-out and turnover strategy.
  • Develop a comprehensive project execution plan.
  • Assist in proposal preparation and participate in client presentations.
  • Install electrical distribution systems, including switchgear, panels, transformers, and disconnects.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in circuitry, including power and control terminations.
  • Terminate single and three-phase equipment and devices.
  • Install lighting circuits effectively.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Industrial Electrical Superintendent with a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale industrial projects.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
  • Efficient utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years' experience as an Electrical Superintendent is required; 7 years is preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of overall experience as a Foreman or Superintendent.
