Job Description

The successful candidate will oversee the estimating department, ensuring effective communication among teams and developing best practices for accurate estimates. As an Electrical Construction Estimation Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Manage estimating activities, including pre-bid attendance, bid management, cost databases, and estimating software.
  • Develop and implement estimating practices to ensure timely submittals and effective collaboration between disciplines.
  • Lead a team of estimators, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure their growth and success.
  • Collaborate with the Preconstruction Manager to achieve department objectives and align with corporate goals.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced individual with a proven track record in construction estimating and leadership. The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent progressive work experience.
  • At least 7+ years of estimating experience on construction projects or 10+ years of experience in lieu of education.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in industry-leading estimating software, such as Bid2Win.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $160,000-$180,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
