We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team as a Construction Project Specialist. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical systems in construction projects, collaborating with project managers and clients, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position that offers opportunities for career growth and professional development. As an Electrical Estimator, you will work closely with our project management team to provide accurate cost estimates, analyze project requirements, and develop comprehensive cost databases.
Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates of electrical systems for construction projects based on engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Review and interpret electrical plans and specifications to determine scope of work and develop cost estimates.
- Utilize estimating software to develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive cost databases.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and provide accurate cost estimates.
- Analyze and adjust estimates as project parameters change, providing updates to project managers and clients as needed.
- Participate in bid reviews and presentations to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
